Huh? How about asking me before posting nonsense like this? I don't
charge people for answering stupid questions (unless it gets out of

I used to have that problem too. You don't need to bother your
system adm people to solve this.
Just log in to the mailhost (supposedly running U*IX) and give the
command "ps -auxg | grep pop".
You will see your "popper" running in limbo. Check the pid and kill it
yourself.

That part is easy. Just type in the higher bps that you want, it will replace
the 19.2 option and in the future when you go into your port setup section it
will give you the higher bps option you desire. You don't even need
cybercom.drv to do that. I communicate with my 14.4 modem at 57600 and I use
the standard comm drivers. Windows supports 16550 uarts for native Windows apps
you only need an alternative driver if you are attempting higher speeds with a
dos comm app running under Windows.
